One of the most visited places in the Sanctuary of San Gerardo Maiella is undoubtedly the Hall of Ribbons, whose walls and ceiling are covered with thousands of pink and blue ribbons that mothers have donated over the years to the Saint as a sign of gratitude for various difficulties overcome during motherhood. Thousands of birth ribbons with photos of children have been left by pilgrims in honor of San Gerardo Maiella
