GERARDINO MUSEUM

Informations

The Gerardino Museum, located within the Sanctuary of San Gerardo, tells the wonderful story of the life of Saint Gerardo and the history of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, which welcomed him as a coadjutor brother. The museum consists of two rooms: in the first, there are paintings depicting key moments in the life of Saint Gerardo, while the second features images related to the saint’s life, as well as display cases containing memorabilia donated by the faithful to the saint as a thank-you for the graces received. The small museum also includes a reconstruction of the cell where Saint Gerardo lived, which contains a large crucifix mounted on the wall, a desk, a small bed, and a few other objects.
