The Picentini Mountains Regional Park Authority is the managing body of the Park, responsible for the active institutional protection of the heritage, values, and vocation of the Picentini Mountains.

The establishment of the Picentini Mountains Regional Park is provided for by Regional Law No. 33 of September 1, 1993, which incorporates the national law No. 394 of December 6, 1991, the so-called “framework law” on protected areas, for the Campania region.

Following alternating events, in implementation of Regional Law No. 33 of September 1, 1993, and subsequent amendments, and based on the decisions made during the Conference of Entities, with prior “consultation” from the III and IV Advisory Committees
