MUSEUM OF WATERS

Informations

MuDeA, the Museum of Waters of the Municipality of Caposele, tells stories of places and people through its most precious resource: water.
The museum consists of six rooms, with a narrative focused on the events and social, territorial, and cultural transformations that have taken place in Caposele since 1900. It ranges from representations of the old local settlement with fulling mills and water mills, through the phases of the construction of the renowned Apulian Aqueduct, to more recent times. Additionally, there is an educational laboratory where visitors can learn about, among other things, the characteristics of local PAT products (traditional agri-food products), such as matassa, mufletto, and the Caposele amaretto.
